A story that begins in 1923 in Manzano, in the province of Udine in Italy, when Antonio Calligaris founded a small workshop where the timeless Marocca chair was born.

Innovation has always been one of the pillars of the Calligaris company, with careful research into materials, fabrics derived from recycled Pet or ceramic table tops coupled with glass.

In the 80s, the transition from subcontractors to the Calligaris brand and from wood to other materials (metal, plastic, leather, glass) occurred, even though wood is still the distinctive feature and is a fixed point for combining chairs and tables, always present in the Calligaris catalogue.

The company is present throughout the world market for its ability to interpret the tastes and needs of the end customer. It participates in many trade fairs around the world and evolves year after year, while maintaining its roots solidly.
