Jute

COATINGS

The jute is atextile fiber that is obtained from the bark of various species of Corchorus. These types of plants grow spontaneously in humid tropical regions of Asia and Africa, and appear in low bushes commonly known as Jewish mallow. They are also cultivated, and as well as the bark for fiber, sometimes also the leaves for grass are used. In India where cultivation is; very extensive and is the only one to supply the fiber for the world market, the plants, in slender vertical stems, reach a height of m. 1 to over 3.

Jute is made from natural materials. a versatile material, however, it also tends to be rigid and to absorb bad odours. Washing it can make it more pleasant to use, but it must be done with care to prevent the fibers from fraying.

This fabric is made in Italy. totally recyclable and biodegradable, consequently its environmental impact value is; practically none.

The not too dense weave with which it is usually woven makes it feel more elegant. that has an excellent degree of transpiration, also for this reason it is; the second closest fiber worked in the world after cotton.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Jute does not tolerate washing in water, this would cause the fabric to shrink and lose its consistency, as well as losing its natural hairiness. . In case there are stains, it is necessary to clean it. it is advisable to remove them immediately and prevent them from penetrating the fabric.
