A wooden table is an archetypal image: it combines the idea of nature with that of the human ability to shape it according to one's needs. There are several phases for woodworking : it begins with the cutting of the tree and drying; we continue with the modeling and finally the finishes of the pieces ready for assembly are completed. For example, "flamed" wood has a surface on which many veins intertwine, giving the impression that a fire has broken out; or “the veneer” is composed of a base on which very thin wooden leaves are applied to make it smoother or to embellish it with a variant from a more valuable tree. The table can also be in solid wood, i.e. expose the heart of the trunk on the surface, obtained with a simple cut, without further interventions.
